CALDWELL, Idaho – The Bushnell University men's basketball team gave up 26 points off 20 turnovers and were out-scored 53-21 in bench points as the No. 10 ranked College of Idaho went deep for a 96-70 victory on Saturday evening.

The Beacons (8-15, 6-10 CCC) shot 42% from three-point range, but couldn't overcome their mistakes in a physical game that included 31 fouls and nine blocked shots combined.

Bushnell was led once again by
Stevie Schlabach, scoring 28 points. The junior scored 35 points in the first meeting between the schools and has now scored 97 points in the four games he has played against the Yotes. Schlabach also moved to No. 2 on Bushnell's NAIA-Era career scoring list with 1,058 points.Â
Isaac Girley (pictured) added 13 points off the bench while
Keishon Dawkins scored ten points and tied for the team-high with five rebounds.
Drayton Caoile led the Beacons with six assists.

The College of Idaho (20-4, 14-2) had four players in double-figures, led by Johnny Radford off the bench with 16. Jake O'Neil added 15 and nine rebounds while Tyler Robinett scored 15 on 7-for-11 shooting. The Yotes shot 53% from the field in the game and out-rebounded the Beacons, 35-30.

The Beacons will be back in Eugene next weekend, playing host to CCC leading Oregon Tech (17-6, 14-1) on Friday night at 7:30 pm.
