ASHLAND, Ore. – The Bushnell University women's soccer team fell to Southern Oregon in their first road Cascade Conference game of the season on Sunday, 4-0.

Sarah Mauk broke a scoreless tie in the 41st minute and SOU added three insurance goals in the second half to claim victory. The Raiders (1-1-1 Overall, 1-1-1 CCC) out-shot the Beacons, 32-3.

Makenna Hadaller had another strong game in goal as she made 11 saves in the contest. Jessie Selby made two saves for SOU to earn the shutout. Â

"It was a tough loss for us today," said Head Coach
Benny Flores. "The team came out and played tough but we have to put together two quality halves. When we can do that, we will be an exciting team to watch."
Bushnell (0-6, 0-3) will face Southern Oregon again on Monday, kicking off at 1:00 pm.
