2021 NAIA Women's Volleyball All-Americans
EUGENE, Ore. – For the third straight year, junior
Makenna Northern has been named an NAIA All-American, garnering Honorable Mention accolades. She was also honored on Thursday by the American Volleyball Coaches Association with All-American Honorable Mention as well.

The CCC Setter of the Year led the conference with 10.44 assists per set and this year became the Beacons all-time leader for assists with 3226. This season she earned three CCC Player of the Week honors as well.

Northern now owns three of Bushnell's five All-American honorable mention nods all-time. Tami Brown (2012) and Megan Van Marter (2018) were also selected during their careers. Â She also becomes just the third team-sport athlete to earn at least three All-American honors, joining men's basketball players Jon Willis (4, 1983-1986) and Ty Lockard (3, 1994-1996).
Bushnell went 21-8 during the 2021 season, taking fourth place in the Cascade Collegiate Conference and qualifying for their second straight trip to the NAIA National Championship Tournament. Â
