SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Bushnell University fell 3-0 to visiting Northwest University in a Cascade Collegiate Conference women's soccer match at the Les Schwab Sports Park.

Northwest (4-6-3, 3-2-2 CCC) got on the scoreboard late in the first half as Liv Lagerquist found Grace Burke in the 42
nd minute. The goal followed a corner kick that was juggled around in the box before finding the foot of Burke.

Callie Wright, who led the Eagles with a goal and an assist, gave Northwest a 2-0 advantage in the 78
th minute, taking a shot from the top of the box and sending it over the hands of the goalkeeper. Wright and Gracie VanAssche then assisted Claire Jo Diede on a goal with just over five minutes to go in the match to seal the 3-0 victory for the Eagles.

Bella Hernandez led Bushnell (3-9, 1-6 CCC) with three shots each. The Beacons were outshot 28-11 on the match with a 16-3 deficit in shots on goal.
Anabel Mendez recorded 13 saves for the Beacons.

Bushnell finishes off the home schedule with matches against Rocky Mountain College (Mont.) and the University of Providence (Mont.) on October 15-16.
