EUGENE, Ore. – Coming down off the high of Tuesday's monster win against No. 6 Corban, the Beacons were slightly sluggish on Friday evening, but cruised to a four-set win over Warner Pacific, 25-14, 23-25, 25-12, 25-8.

The Beacons (16-3, 12-3 CCC) hit .336 in the match and held every statistical advantage over the Knights: 59-31 in kills, 10-1 in service aces, 6-2 in blocks, and 58-45 in digs. The Knights (1-16, 1-13) hit .083 and suffered from 24 unforced errors.

Junior setter
Makenna Northern produced another monster night running the Beacon offense as she distributed double-digit attempts to six different hitters and collected a double-double with 50 assists and 16 digs.
Callie Wilkins led all players with 17 digs and six aces, adding four assists.

Halle Neumann led the offense as she collected 15 kills, hitting .448.
Cambria Lingenfelder posted 13 kills and Matty Ladd finished the night hitting .615 with nine kills and three blocks.

Warner Pacific was led by Grace Buchanan with a match-high 19 kills, hitting .207 as she swung 58 times. Shania Rose owned 24 assists while Tevlin Britten, Savannah Proske and Abby Alvaro-Thomas each added 11 digs to the cause.

Jason Corwin said, "We played well offensively tonight. Warner did some good things in the second set. We responded well, playing our more consistent brand of volleyball over the last two sets. We will shore up a few things and get ready for a hungry Multnomah team tomorrow night."
