EUGENE, Ore. – Bushnell completed a 3-0 week on Saturday evening as they swept Multnomah University in Cascade Collegiate Conference action, 25-20, 25-14, 25-14. It ended a seven-match home stand for the Beacons.

Bushnell (17-3, 13-3 CCC) hit .342 in the match and held the Lions to a .102 clip. The Beacons out-blocked Multnomah 5-1 and had a 47-25 advantage in kills.

Shay Coons led all players with 15 kills in the match and hit .351.
Cambria Lingenfelder added another double-double with 11 kills and ten digs and
Payton Jones scored eight kills and two blcoks, hitting a match-high .583.
Makenna Northern ran the offense to the tune of 40 assists and
Callie Wilkins posted a match-high 21 digs.

Multnomah (3-13, 2-13) was led by Rachel Bailey, collecting 16 assists and ten digs. Jocelynn Porter had a team-high eight kills.

Jason Corwin said, "Multnomah came in with a ton of energy tonight and they were making some plays. We had to make some adjustments to overcome that and slowed down their hitters. Once we did, we got in a groove offensively."

The Beacons will hit the road next weekend, traveling to face Southern Oregon University on Friday night at 7:00 pm. The team will also take on Oregon Tech, the team tied with Bushnell for third-place in the CCC, on Saturday at 6:00 pm.
