SALEM, Ore. – Junior
Anika Rasubala came closer to clinching a return to the NAIA National Championships as she registered a national "B" standard in the 3000m Steeplechase on Saturday at the Willamette Invitational.

Rasubala took fourth place, running the race in 11 minutes, 26.20 seconds to clear the provisional standard by just under four seconds.

While no other new qualifications were attained on Saturday for the conference championships, a number of new season-bests were accomplished by previous qualifiers. Junior
Christy Seaton (15.36) and Bri Jury (16.13) improved their 100m hurdle marks, senior
Myah Harter added nearly 12 feet to her discus mark (38.03m) and
Cali Allen improved her javelin standard (36.95m).
