PORTLAND, Ore. – The Lewis & Clark Spring Break Open yielded seven more qualifications for the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship and featured three event victories and a new school record.

Senior
Micah Jury (pictured) led the charge, winning the 400m hurdles with a CCC qualification time of 57.66 seconds.

On both the 200m sprint and the 3000m Steeplechase, a pair of Beacons added their names to the conference roster. In the 200m, senior
Antonio Campos-Perez (22.57) and sophomore
Nicolas Delgado (27.83) qualified while seniors
Conner Covey (9:42.80) and
Dan Carrier (9:50.72) bested the CCC standard in the steeple.

Already a qualifier in the shot-put,
Logan Oakerman registered a 38.74m throw in the discus, giving him a pair of events for the conference championship in May.

Michael Andrews, NCU's resident Pole Vaulter, broke his own school record which had stood for 22 months, winning the event with a leap of 4.42m

Also winning their event was the 4x400m relay team of
Josh McCluskey, Campos-Perez, Delgado, and Jury, with a season-best time of 3:26.62.
