Vancouver, Wash. - Senior
Anika Rasubala, NCU's lone representative at the NAIA National Championship race at Fort Vancouver, closed out the 2019 cross country season for the Beacons on Friday morning.

Running near the top-30 for much of the race, Rasubala ended up taking 50
th with a time of 18:58. It was the 17
th top-50 finish for an NCU women's cross country runner and places 24
th on the Beacon all-time list of NAIA times.

Elsewhere in the Cascade Conference on Friday, CCC champion Amelia Pullen, a freshman at Warner Pacific, took tenth place. She was joined by fellow All-Americans Larissa Mauer and Molly Vitale-Sullivan from the College of Idaho. The Yotes finished 2
nd in the team competition, 36 points behind new NAIA champion Madonna. Southern Oregon finished ninth followed by Oregon Tech in 15
th, Eastern Oregon in 29
th, and Warner Pacific in 35
th.

On the men's side, Alex Martin finished third, leading The College of Idaho to a fifth-place finish. SOU followed in 12
th with OIT taking 15
th, Eastern Oregon taking 19
th, and Northwest in 32
nd.

Rasubala will now turn her attention to training for the 2020 Outdoor Track & Field season where she will be a front runner to defend her CCC and NAIA national Championships in the 3000m Steeplechase. Â
