Conference Leaders Remain Undefeated

KIRKLAND, Wash.  – The Northwest University women's soccer team kept their two-point lead in the Cascade Collegiate Conference standings on Saturday, knocking off the Beacons of Northwest Christian, 5-0.

The Eagles out-shot NCU 31-2 and locked in the game-winner just five minutes into the contest. Rylee Rassier was the big story for Northwest, scoring four goals and assisting on the fifth as the home team claimed the victory.

Makenna Hadaller (pictured) returned to action for the Beacons (2-9, 1-5 CCC) seeing the final 45 minutes of action in goal and recording eight saves.

The Beacons will hit the road this week for Montana, beginning against Carroll College (4-5-2, 1-4-1) on Friday at 2:30 pm PST.
