EUGENE, Ore. – Corban University defeated Northwest Christian University on Saturday with a 3-0 win in the second-to-last Cascade Conference regular season game for both teams.

The Warriors (9-6-1, 6-4-1 CCC) allowed NCU their highest shot total in over a month, but still out-shot the home team, 17-9 with eight shots-on-goal. With the win, Corban keeps pace with Rocky Mountain for fourth-place in the CCC as both teams own 19 points.

The Beacons played one of their better halves of the season, keeping Corban scoreless with just a 6-4 shot discrepancy. The Warriors broke through in the 54th minute when Klarissa Barajas scored her first of two goals. Â

Annouska Kordom scored the second goal in the 69th minute on the pass from Barajas and Barajas added the final insurance strike just four minutes later.

Both teams will close out the regular season next weekend against Rocky Mountain. The Beacons will be first, hosting the Bears at 12:30 pm on Friday. Corban takes on RMC at 3:00 pm on Sunday.
