SALEM, Ore. and SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The Willamette Invitational yielded a pair of new CCC qualifications this weekend as the Beacons competed at split events.
 
Senior Garrett Kraal landed his qualification to conference in the 5000m, running a 15:08.40.
 
Freshman Logan Oakerman snagged his first career invite, hitting a 39.64m in the discus.
 
Freshman Aaron Hackney also provided a highlight, taking second place in the javelin competition at the Westmont College Classic. Hackney missed an NAIA "B" standard by a few feet, throwing a 54.40m.
