BILLINGS, Mont. – The Battlin' Bears scored twice in the first half and added three more in the second to pull away with the Cascade Conference victory, 5-0.
 
Rocky (7-5-1, 3-4-1 CCC) out-shot the Beacons, 23-7 and held a 13-4 advantage in shots-on-goal. Katie Hastings ended the game with eight saves for NCU (2-10-1, 1-7-1).
 
The Bears started the scoring off in the 11th minute as Hannah Borgel scored off a pass from Lauryn Gamache. Gamache went on to score one later in the half and assist on the final goal while Tiara Duford capped off the night with a brace, scoring both goals two minutes apart.
 
The Beacons will be back in action next Sunday as they travel to face Eastern Oregon University at 1:30 pm.
