EUGENE, Ore. – Four new conference qualifying times were reached on Saturday as the Beacons competed at the Lane Preview.
 
In the 100m, Matt Jones bettered his own season best time with a sprint of 11.39, hitting the conference qualifying mark along with Antonio Campos-Perez.
 
Already a qualifier in the Steeplechase, TJ Wright added the 1500m event to his resume with a time of 4:00.81.
 
Anthony Galindo also wrote his name on the CCC travel list in the 110m Hurdles, coming in at 16.83.
 
Meanwhile, up in Portland, Garrett Kraal snagged a 5000m conference mark, running 15:09.66.
 
Having already qualified for conference, junior Christian Hackney added a "B" standard for the NAIA championship in the javelin with a throw of 55.53m.
