Â
NCU (11-3, 5-2 CCC) shot 55.4% from the field and out-rebounded the Eagles 48-30. Northwest (13-3, 5-3) had just seven turnovers, but gave up 60 second-half points as the Beacons shot 17-for-24 over the final 20 minutes.

Head Coach
Luke Jackson said, "The guys were determined to come out and win tonight. You have to give credit to a guy like Jack who refused to lose and went ballistic from behind the arc. I'm really proud of the effort and the way the guys dug it out."
Â
Hackman finished with a school-record 11 triples, breaking a record set by
Javonte Byrd in 2014. Hackman went 6-for-7 in the second half as NCU outscored Northwest 60-34. He also matched NCU's single-game record for points in a CCC game, scoring 35 to tie a record also owned by Byrd.
