2017-2018: Played in 23 games as a junior...making 16 starts for the Beacons...averaged 11.1 points per game...scored a season-high 28 points against Walla Walla (Wash.).

2016-2017: Played in 26 games and started 24 as a sophomore...ranked fourth on the team in scoring, averaging 13.4 points per game...led the team at the free-throw line, shooting 83.7%...second on team with 44 three-pointers...led team with 136 assists...scored 15 or more points in 15 games...posted a career-high 27 points against Eastern Oregon on January 21...earned the Coaches Award...snagged First-Team All-CCC Honors and was an NAIA All-American honorable mention. 

2015-2016: Played in all 35 games and started 34 during his freshman season...ranked third on the team, averaging 11.1 points per game...shot 48% from the field...hit 39 three-pointers...led team with 167 assists and 61 steals...scored 15 or more points in nine games, including the final four games of the season...scored season-high 21 against Northwest on February 6...named most valuable newcomer. 

Prior to NCU: Blackwell comes to NCU after serving our country for six year as a sergeant in the Marines. 

High School: Attended Evergreen High School and graduated in 2008.

Personal: Married to former women's basketball player Hinako Blackwell.
