GULF SHORES, Ala. – A strong sophomore season for Garrett Kraal came to a close on Friday in the preliminary round of the men's 5000m run.
 
Kraal, a two-time All-CCC selection this year for cross country and track, finished 17^th overall during the trials, missing out on the top-16 and a spot in the finals by a mere six seconds as he ran a 15:21.91.
 
The NCU men's team will close out the 2016 season with Day Three on Saturday. TJ Wright will compete for the Beacons in the 3000m Steeplechase.
