PORTLAND, Ore. – The Northwest Christian University women's soccer team scattered 17 shots on Friday afternoon but were unable to get one across in a 1-0 loss to Warner Pacific in Cascade Collegiate Conference action.

The Knights (2-9-3, 1-7-1 CCC) were out-shot 17-5 and had just three shots on goal, but in the 3rd minute they picked up the only shot that mattered as Brittney Yoshimura delivered off a pass from Taylor Kern. The slim WPC margin held for the next 87 minutes as keeper Mariah Liebert was peppered with nine shots on goal, coming up with the save each time.
