LaGRANDE, Ore. – The Northwest Christian University women's soccer team was outshot 35-15 on Saturday afternoon and lost to Eastern Oregon University, 7-1.

Heather Henderson scored her team-leading fourth goal of the season for the Beacons in the 71st minute with NCU trailing, 6-0. Henderson scored off a pass from Karli Vath, picking up her second assist of the season.

The Mountaineers (4-6, 4-2 CCC) were aggressive to the tune of three yellow cards and scored first in the ninth minute on a penalty kick. EOU would go on to lead 4-0 at the intermission.

The Beacons (2-11, 1-4 CCC) will be back in action on Friday, October 16th as they play host to The Evergreen State University.
