High School Experience: Played four years on varsity at Thurston High for coach Allix Baker...earned Second-Team All-League honors as a junior and First-Team All-League honors as a senior...once recorded seven aces and 14 kills in a five-set victory over North Eugene HS...also played tennis for the Colts, taking second-place at districts. 

Personal: Born on June 21...daughter of Sarah and Dennis Dowdy...enjoys hiking and camping...loves to bake...plays the ukulele and viola...aspires to become an elementary school teacher...majoring in teacher education with a minor in English.
