Tim Leahy joined the NCU women's soccer coaching staff prior to the 2017 season. Leahy comes to the Beacons with a diverse coaching background in the local soccer community.

Most recently coach Leahy was leading JV girls at Thurston High and worked as Jessica Cardwell's varsity girls assistant coach.

A decade earlier, Leahy led boys varsity program at Thurston and in 2003 he was named Midwestern League Coach of the Year. 

Leahy also has an extensive coaching history in the club ranks, where he spent more than five years working with the OYSA Premier league, leading boys U12-U16 teams.

Coach Leahy played locally at Springfield High before a brief playing career at Linfield College. He graduated from the University of Oregon in 2003 with a degree in Sociology. 

Leahy also works in the banking field and is currently a Loan Solutions Specialist at Umpqua Bank where he has been employed since 2011. He lives in Springfield with his wife Stephanie and Daughter Eliana and also volunteers in the classroom and as a Soccer Coach at St. Paul Catholic School where his daughter attends.
