Cameron Schott begins his first year in Basketball Operations with NCU men's basketball after spending a year as a team manager for the Beacons.
 
While working as a manager, Schott was involved in various aspects of the program, including video, recruiting, scouting, player development, and day-to-day operations. In his first season at NCU, the Beacons won their first ever Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season and tournament titles, achieved their highest national ranking in school history (No. 8), and set the school's single-season win record (28). The Beacons won their first NAIA Division II National Tournament game in school history and had two players sign to play professionally. Schott worked with CCC Coach of the Year, Luke Jackson, and was also a practice player with the NCU women's basketball program.
 
Prior to his time at NCU, Schott began his coaching career as a volunteer coach for the AAU program DBA Drive and spent a summer interning at Santa Clara University for the men's basketball Director of Basketball Operations. During the past summer, Schott returned to the SCU men's basketball program as an Assistant Video Coordinator. Schott has also written for the websites NorCalPreps.com, NetScoutsBasketball.com, and RealGM.com.
 
A graduate from Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California, Schott is currently a senior at the University of Oregon pursuing a Journalism degree and Business Administration minor.
