After a strong two seasons on the pitching staff for the Beacons, Max Chapman joins the staff as an assistant coach in 2026.
Chapman started 20 games for the Beacons, and as a senior held a 4.45 ERA to rank seventh in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. He went 6-2 with 53 strikeouts in that final campaign to set a new Bushnell single-season record. He led the conference with five pickoffs and became the second Beacon in school history to throw a complete game, shutting out Corban University on March 8, 2025.
Coach Chapman also played for Michigan State University before transferring to Bushnell.
He graduated from Bushnell in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
