2024: Played in 11 games as a junior as a pinch runner...hit a home run in his first at-bat of the season...earned Academic All-CCC and NAIA Scholar Athlete recognition...named to the Athletic Director's honor roll both semesters and was a Distinguished Scholar Athlete (4.0 GPA) in the fall. 

2023: Played in 34 games as a sophomore, mostly as a pinch runner...scored 18 runs...represented the team as the Champion of Character nominee at the Iggy Awards...earned Academic All-CCC and NAIA Scholar Athlete recognition...named to the Athletic Director's honor roll both semesters.

2022: Played in three games as a freshman...voted Most Inspirational by his teammates and earned the Coaches Award...named to the Athletic Director's honor roll both semesters and was a Distinguished Scholar Athlete (4.0 GPA) in the fall.

High School Experience: Played two years on varsity at Elmira High School and then went on to play two years on varsity at Churchill High for coach Kenny Niles...as a freshman, named second-team all-league and earned First-Team All-League as a sophomore...lost junior season due to COVID...as a senior, batted .526 for the Lancers with an OPS of 1.512 to earn All-State honors as a designated hitter...had a streak of 13 consecutive at-bats with a hit including nine doubles...also played football and wrestled for the Lancers. 

Personal: Born on February 2...son of Tessa Olson and Chris Smith...enjoys snowboarding, working out, and hanging out with friends...plays percussion...aspires to continue his baseball career beyond college and to work in real estate...majoring in business.
