High School Experience: Played four years on varsity at Yoncalla High for coach Bid Van Loon...was a four-time honor roll selection...earned team MVP twice...earned First-Team All-Big Fir League honors as a senior...averaged 20 points and ten rebounds per game...also played football for the Eagles, throwing 3 TDs per game and earning Second-Team All-League honors as a sophomore.
