Biography

2008: Played in 16 matches for the Beacons as a freshman, totalling 24 kills, 15 digs and 15 blocks.

High School Experience: Played four years on varsity at Santiam Christian High for coach Kim McLain...was a two-time All-Pac West Conference Honorable Mention...named most inspirational as a junior...earned the Eagle Award as a senior co-captain...led the Eagles to the state semi-finals...also played Softball, averaging 13 strikeouts per game, earning First-Team All-League and First-Team All-State honors as a senior. 

Personal: Born on April 28, 2000 in Albany, Ore...daughter of Barbara and Tony Koontz...enjoys reading and ranching...favorite band is Third Day...favorite movie is Remember the Titans...aspires to become a high school teacher or a college professor...majoring in history.
