EUGENE, Ore. – A hat-trick from Abbi Roubidoux in the first 22 minutes of the game elevated the College of Idaho Yotes to victory on Friday evening as the defeated Bushnell 3-1 in Cascade Collegiate Conference action.
The Beacons (1-3-2, 0-2 CCC) found a way to recover after their slow start, holding the Yotes off the scoreboard the rest of the way, while adding a goal of their own in the 44th minute.
Ryah Larsen created a turnover in the midfield and a passing combo to
Brielle Engle and
Indiana Chambers Elidia Cervantes Carlos for the goal as she beat the keeper from eight yards.

Toni Malone said, "I was really impressed with our team and what they did to respond over the final 70 minutes. We stuck to our game, we were brave on the ball, and we created a lot of shots and opportunities on goal. The score did not reflect the game or the way we played. There was a lot of fight, a lot of good soccer, and a lot to build off of."
The College of Idaho (7-1, 3-0) finished the game with a 16-8 advantage in shot attempts and their nine shots-on-goal led to a six-save night for Bushnell keeper
Gabriella Montes.
