Round One Results
LEWISTON, Idaho. – Bushnell's scoring golfers combined to shoot one-under par under their respective final three holes, jumping from last place into fifth at the conclusion of the first round at the Cascade Collegiate Conference championships, taking place at Lewiston Country Club.

The Beacons shot 301 as a team to sit in fifth. Only four strokes separate fourth through seventh place after the first 18 holes of the three-round affair.

Leading for the Beacons is
Matt Forsyth, currently tied for fifth with an even-par 72.
Isaac Wells follows in 14
th (74),
Trison Hedges (pictured) is 20
th (76) and
Peyton Wiedenmann is 34
th (79) to round out Bushnell's scoring.
Jacob Holmes was fifth among the Beacons in 45

Host Lewis-Clark State shot even par as a team (288) went into the clubhouse with a five-shot lead over the University of British Columbia at 293. Oregon Tech follows in third (297) with Corban one stroke ahead of the Beacons in fourth (300).

The tournament continues with round two on Tuesday, followed by the final round on Wednesday.
