EUGENE, Ore. - Â
Haleigh Wambolt capped a three-run seventh with a two-run walk-off single as Bushnell forced a double-header split with Warner Pacific University on Saturday. The Knights took the non-conference fourth game of the series, but not before the Beacons avoided the CCC sweep.

GAME ONE: Bushnell 5, Warner Pacific 4

Trailing 4-2 as the teams headed into the final half frame, Bushnell came back to win.
Maddy Fullenwider opened the inning with a pinch-hit walk, and
Ashlyn Martin reentered and moved to second on a
Shyla Mead single.
Sam Ray added a pinch-hit walk as well to load the bases and
Makenzie Alexander followed that up with a sacrifice fly to make it 4-3. Wambolt promptly fired a single through the left side of the infield, scoring two runs for the victory.

For Mead, it was a banner day at the plate, hitting 2-for-3 with two runs an RBI which came on a solo home run in the fourth inning. It was her first dinger for the Beacons and second of her college career. Wambolt and Peeler also had two hits apiece including a double for Peeler as the Beacons won despite being out-hit 8-6.

Gabby Garza started the game for the Beacons and went three innings, giving up just one earned run. After an inning from
Peyton Trickel,
Sara Martin closed the final three shutout innings to gain the victory, striking out three and giving up just two hits.

For Warner Pacific (6-8, 2-1 CCC), Kili Makanani (2-4) went the distance, giving up three earned runs while Noe Barawis, Makanani and Maddy Lahey had two hits apiece.

GAME TWO: Warner Pacific 4, Bushnell 2

Warner Pacific slowly built a 3-0 lead in the non-conference game, and held on for a 4-2 victory. Â

Kaylee Pokorny (4-3) got her second win of the weekend for the Knights with a complete game, allowing two earned on eight hits with one strikeout. While Noelani Barawis led the offense, hitting 3-for-4.

Martin (2-7) took the loss in a complete game effort, giving up for earned on 12 hits with a pair of K's.
Â
Breani Kahalehau paced Bushnell with three hits, including a double, while
Gracie Hamilton went 2-for-3 with a triple in the loss.
