2027 CCC Softball Preseason Poll
CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Bushnell softball team has been picked to finished ninth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, as voted on by the CCC coaches.
Bushnell came in with 25 points in the poll, behind Corban with 33. Last season the Beacons went 6-35 and took ninth-place in the CCC as they finished 3-21 in conference contests.
The always difficult CCC, which had five teams ranked in the NAIA National Top-25 for most of the 2026 season, will once again be expected to have a high level of parity among the top teams. Southern Oregon University (75 points), which finished in third-place last season, has been picked to win the conference, earning six first-place votes. They are followed by defending champion Oregon Tech (70) in second with one first place vote, while last season's second-place team, Eastern Oregon(69), is third with two first-place nods.
The College of Idaho (64) is fourth, followed by British Columbia (51), Simpson (38), Warner Pacific (36), Corban (33) and the Beacons (25).
Bushnell opens the season on February 1, 2027 against Nelson University, part of a ten-game trip to Arizona.
