CALDWELL, Idaho. – The Bushnell men's soccer team suffered their second straight shutout on the road in Cascade Collegiate Conference action on Saturday, falling to the College of Idaho, 4-0.
The Beacons (7-2, 1-2 CCC) were held to just six shot attempts by a stifling College of Idaho defense with
Omar Barajas and
Juan Olguin picking up the only two shots-on-goal for the visitors. The Yotes (2-2-1, 2-2) produced 18 shot attempts and put the game away with three second half goals.
Head Coach
Joao Ehlers said, "This was a tough result tonight. We did not have enough ideas in the final third and ended up allowing the opponent too much space defensively. We will need to regroup and work hard during the week to get better results next weekend.
UP NEXT: After two weeks on the road, the Beacons come home next weekend and will play host to Walla Walla University (1-2, 1-2) on Friday at 2:30 pm.
