LA GRANDE, Ore.  – Bushnell's undefeated start to the 2025 season is over as the Beacons were knocked off by (RV) Eastern Oregon University on Friday evening, 3-0.

One of the highest scoring teams in the country to this point, the Beacons (7-1, 1-1 CCC) were held scoreless by the Mounties (6-0-2, 3-0) currently receiving votes in the NAIA Coaches Poll while landing at No. 8 in the NAIA's men's soccer RPI.

EOU took the battle of the unbeatens despite being out-shot 11-7 in the contest including an 8-2 edge in favor of the Beacons in the second half.

"We created a lot of chances but struggled to put them away," said Head Coach
Joao Ehlers. "We have another tough game tomorrow and we will need to be more efficient."
