2024-2025 CCC Men's Basketball Postseason Awards
CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Postseason Awards were announced on Tuesday with three Beacons among those selected.
Leading the way with a First-Team All-Conference selection was junior
Cory Johnson. Johnson finished the season ranked third in the CCC in scoring, averaging 16.9 points per game. He had ten 20-point games and owned the top individual game in the conference all season, scoring 36 points against Northwest on February 16.
Johnson also had eight double-doubles on the season, earning a season-high 18 rebounds in that same game against Northwest, and he was sixth in the CCC in rebounding. He earned one CCC Player of the Week honor on February 24.
Kaleb Burnett was named the CCC Freshman of the Year, after averaging 12 points per game and shooting 54.8% from the field. The redshirt freshman had two games with at least 25 points, scoring a season-high 26 against Warner Pacific on January 24. On February 15, Burnett went 10-for-10 at the free-throw line, part of a stretch of 23 consecutive free throws to end the season.
Earning All-CCC Honorable Mention in his first season with the Beacons is junior
Squeeky Johnson. The only player to start every game for the Beacons this season, Johnson averaged 11.6 points per game and finished second in the CCC with 66 three-pointers. Johnson had a pair of 30-point games this season, against Corban on December 30 and Multnomah on January 25. He had four games with at least five three-pointers.
Bushnell finished the season at 13-16, taking eighth-place in the Cascade Collegiate Conference with a record of 9-13.
