One of the final three undefeated teams left standing in the NAIA, the No. 4-ranked Southern Oregon University women's basketball team kept it that way on Friday evening with a 67-41 victory over Bushnell.
The Beacons (9-14, 8-9 CCC) were held to 27% shooting and had nearly as many rebounds as points. Bushnell also turned the ball over 16 times, leading to a 20-2 advantage for SOU in points off mistakes.
Bushnell was led by

Southern Oregon (22-0, 16-0) shot 46% in the game, but the top three-point shooting team in the country was just 4-for-14 from three-point range. Meghan McIntyre was the exception, going 2-for-2 from deep and scoring 17 points with five steals. Emma Schmerbach also scored 17 along with a team-high nine rebounds.
Bushnell, who remains tied for sixth in the CCC with Corban, will head to Klamath Falls on Saturday to take on No. 23 Oregon Tech. The Owls defeated Corban on Friday.
