CHENEY, Wash. – The Bushnell women's basketball closed out the 2025 portion of the schedule on Monday evening, falling to NCAA Division I Eastern Washington University, 78-37. The game was an exhibition for the Beacons while counting toward the season record of the Eagles.

The Beacons (2-10) got off to a fast start with layups from
Sabrina Flowers and
Ciena Tumoine and closed the first quarter with a three-pointer
Ellis Mastel to trail just 12-11 after the opening ten minutes.
Eastern Washington (7-6) buckled down in the second quarter and never looked back, leading 38-23 at halftime before holding the visiting Beacons to just 14 points in the second half. Â

The Beacons were led by Tumoine and
Maddie Gerhart, scoring six points apiece while Flowers,
Ayden Krupke, Mastel, and
Dayvis Key each scored five. Krupke added a team-high seven rebounds.

EWU had four players in double-figures with Kourtney Grossman leading the way, posting a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Jaecy Eggers added 15 points and 13 rebounds.
