ASHLAND, Ore. – The Southern Oregon University women's basketball team won their 40th consecutive Cascade Collegiate Conference game on Saturday afternoon, pulling away in the second-half for a 70-55 victory over Bushnell.

The Beacons (2-10, 0-4 CCC) got off to a hot start, jumping out to an early 6-0 lead in the first two minutes of the game before going ahead 20-13 with 8:21 remaining in the first half. SOU scored seven straight to tie the game and ended up holding a five-point advantage at the intermission.

It was all Southern Oregon in the third quarter as they scored 12 unanswered points out of the break. By the start of the third quarter, the Raiders lead had grown to 54-38.

The Beacons were led in defeat by
Ayden Krupke, scoring 16 points, while
Kenzi Pedersen (pictured) secured a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Ciena Tumoine added 11 points, along with a team-high six assists.

Southern Oregon (9-3, 4-0) was led by a game-high 26 points from Eliza DiGiulio, hitting five three pointers. Bridgette McIntyre scored ten points and eight assists and Lydia Traore came off the bench to post 11 points and nine rebounds.

UP NEXT: The Beacons will play one more game in 2025, traveling to take on Eastern Washington University in an Exhibition on December 29. Â
