2025 CCC Men's Soccer Postseason Awards

CORVALLIS, Ore.  – The Bushnell men's soccer team claimed three spots among the Cascade Collegiate Conference honors, as announced by the CCC offices on Friday.     
 
Leading the way with First-Team All-CCC honors is junior Forward Omar Barajas. Barajas ranks fourth in the CCC with 11 goals on the year, which set a new Bushnell single-season record. He also leads the conference in shots and ranks third in total points with 28, adding six assists.
 
Barajas was named the CCC Offensive Player of the Week on September 15 after scoring three goals and three assists in a pair of non-conference wins over Pacific Union and Cal Maritime. He has one game-winning goal this season, scoring the only netter in a 1-0 win over Simpson in August.  
 
Barajas ranks third all-time for the Beacons in goals scored and is Bushnell's career-record holder for assists with 17. This is his first All-Cascade Conference honor.
 
A pair of seniors were given Honorable Mention, including defender Jorge Lopez and goalkeeper William Haberfield. The Bushnell defense has allowed just 19 goals in 18 games this season including eight shutouts.
 
Lopez is Bushnell's two-time Defensive Player of the Year, and has led a backline group which has allowed just 69 shots-on-goal. Haberfield has earned five solo shutouts, and holds a Goals Against Average of 1.08, in line to be the best by a Bushnell keeper in eight years.
 
UP NEXT: The Beacons, who have won a school-record ten games this season, qualified for just their second-ever trip to the Cascade Collegiate Conference championship tournament which begins on Saturday in Medford, Oregon. Bushnell (10-6-2, 4-6-2 CCC) is the No. 8 seed and will face off against top-seed and NAIA No. 23-ranked Eastern Oregon University (13-0-4, 10-0-2) at 7:00 pm.
