Beacon Softball Picked Seventh in CCC Coaches Poll

2026 CCC SOFTBALL PRESEASON POLL

CORVALLIS, Ore. – After tying for seventh-place in the CCC last season, the Bushnell softball team has been picked to finish seventh in the Cascade Collegiate Conference in 2026, as voted on by the CCC Head Coaches.

Bushnell came in with 37 points in the poll, narrowly beating out Warner Pacific University, with whom the Beacons tied in the standings in 2025.

The Cascade Conference will look a little different this season with the departure of Carroll College and the University of Providence. Joining the ranks is Simpson University (Redding, California), a former member of the California Pacific Conference. The Redhawks have been slotted just above Bushnell in sixth-place, claiming 42 points.

Earning eight first-place votes to lead the poll was Southern Oregon University, who were co-champions last season along with Oregon Tech. The Owls claimed the final first-place vote and sit in second-place while Eastern Oregon, British Columbia, and the College of Idaho follow in third, fourth, and fifth respectively. All five of the top-five schools spent the majority of the 2025 season ranked in the NAIA's Top-25 poll.

Rounding out the poll were Bushnell in seventh, Warner Pacific in eighth, and Corban University in ninth.
