Beacons Fall to No. 24 Raiders

EUGENE, Ore.  – No. 24-ranked Southern Oregon University showed why they are the team to beat in the Cascade Conference this season, securing a 3-0 victory over Bushnell University in Cascade Collegiate Conference action.

The Raiders (6-2, 3-0 CCC) out-shot the Beacons 17-3 on Friday, including a 10-0 margin in shots-on-goal. William Haberfield brought in seven saves for Bushnell in goal.

Head Coach Joao Ehlers said, "We played against a tough opponent that was having a good day and deserved to win. We will need to be more creative and overall better organized offensively tomorrow against Oregon Tech."
