Beacons Compete in Portland

RACE RESULTS | PORTLAND, Ore.  – Four members of the men's cross country team competed on Friday in the Cascade Collegiate Conference Preview Meet, taking place at Rose City Golf Course. It was the first official 8000-meter race of the season for the Beacons.   
 
The top finisher for the Beacons was Grant Kaminer (pictured), coming in 73rd place (28:55.97). Logan Gant followed in 76th (29:27.53), Wyatt Pepiot took 81st (30:22.70), and CJ Long competed in his first 8000-meter race, taking 90th (31:41.53).
 
Head Coach Kyle Will said, "Today is just another step in our journey as we continue to grow as a team and grow towards the standards that we are establishing as a program."
 
After back-to-back weekends with races, Bushnell will take a week off before returning to action on October 5th at the Willamette Invitational.
