COMPLETE RESULTS
PORTLAND, Ore. – The Bushnell men's cross country team was in action for the final time on Friday morning, competing in the Cascade Collegiate Conference championships, taking place at Rose City Golf Course.
The Beacons were led by freshman
Ja White (pictured) who set a new personal best at the 8000-meter distance, coming in 56th place with a time of 27:31.7.
Grant Kaminer was next in 71st (28:44.7) followed by
Logan Gant in 75th (28:53.1) and
Sayer Pescosolido in 77th (29:20.8).
Wyatt Humphrey rounded out the scoring for the Beacons in 83rd (30:05.20).
Also competing for Bushnell were
Miguel Ramirez (84th, 30:34.7),
CJ Long (86th, 30:41.2),
Wyatt Pepiot (87th, 30:54.5), and Hudson Gerlitz (94th, 34:06.7). Gerlitz ended his season on a high note, hitting a 55-second personal best.
As a team, Bushnell scored 297 points to claim 11th-place, finishing just nine points behind Walla Walla.
"The men had an okay day, but not a great day," said head coach
Kyle Will. "The guys have their work cut out for them and part of it is just learning how to compete, learning how to train and put in the work, but we have a good foundation for moving forward to the track season and to next cross country season."
