2024 NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches Top-25 Rating - No. 3
EUGENE, Ore. – For the first time in two years, the Bushnell volleyball team is once again receiving votes in the NAIA national coaches poll.
The Beacons have put together an impressive resume so far this season. Bushnell is 11-6 on the year and among their six losses are four to teams ranked in the NAIA's Top-8. The Beacons also have wins against The College of Idaho and Carroll, two teams that are also receiving votes, and they pushed undefeated No. 1 Northwestern to five sets earlier this season.
The Beacons are currently sitting alone in fourth-place in the Cascade Conference with a 6-3 record. All three teams ahead of them are ranked in the NAIA Top-Ten, led by No. 3 Eastern Oregon, followed by No. 5 Southern Oregon and No. 8 Corban. Sixth-place C of I has 83 points and is just one slot outside of the top-25 while Bushnell earned 24 points to remain ahead of Carroll (22 points).
Bushnell hits the road this weekend to close out the first half of the CCC schedule, taking on Evergreen State on Friday at 6:00 pm and Northwest on Saturday at 4:00 pm.
