RESULTS | INDEPENDENCE, Ore. – The men's cross country season continued on Saturday with the Beacons competing at the George Oja Invitational, hosted by Linfield University at the Oak Knoll Golf Course.

Two Beacons set new personal records at the race, led by
Hudson Gerlits (pictured) who cleared over three minutes off of his previous best time, coming in at 31:59.8.
CJ Long also set a new PR, by 18 seconds, finishing at 30:27.2.

Leading the way for the Beacons was
Sayer Pescosolido, taking 172nd place at 28:30.
Grant Kaminer also broke 29:00, taking 176th at 28:32.6.

Rounding out the scoring five for the Beacons were
Logan Gant (192nd, 29:12.1),
Wyatt Humphrey (202nd, 29:35), and
Wyatt Pepiot (211th, 30:04.7).

Also running for the Beacons was
Miguel Ramirez, taking 225th (31:03.8).

The Beacons finished in 20th place as a team.

Kyle Will said, "The men had an okay race today. They are coming along, but need to get over a little bit of a plateau. We are excited to get ready for our home meet next weekend."

The Beacons have one more regular-season race as they host the Bushnell Invitational next Saturday morning at Pine Ridge Golf Course in Springfield.
