EUGENE, Ore. – Senior
Ariana Guerra hit a monster .577 on Saturday afternoon with 17 kills, lifting the Bushnell volleyball team to a 25-20, 25-15, 25-17 victory over Multnomah Campus of Jessup University in Cascade Collegiate Conference action.

The Beacons (15-7, 10-4), currently receiving votes in the NAIA national coaches poll, led in all categories, out-killing the Lions 42-25 while owning a 7-6 lead in aces, 50-43 margin in digs and 7-6 advantage in blocks.

Jason Corwin said, "It was another great game plan from the team tonight. We made some good defensive and offensive adjustments in-game as well."

Guerra saved her best for last as she went 7-for-9 on the attack in the third set without a single error.
Leah Agost was plenty busy on the right side for the Beacons as well, collecting nine kills and hitting .421.
Matty Ladd added six kills and four blocks while
Amyah Semau posted seven kills and a game-high 14 digs, earning half of her digs in the final set.

"I am super proud of this team and how we closed out the weekend," said Agost. "We maintained our standard of play throughout the match and finished strong. I am excited to see what we can do with the rest of our season."

Makenna Mosher also had a strong night in the middle with four blocks while
Bella Parque added 13 digs.
Katie Belitz added 23 assists while
Elijah Sanders earned 18 assists and a match-high three service aces.

The Lions (1-17, 1-13) hit .058 on the night and were led by seven kills from JahNay Jardine. Lauren Porter led the team with eight digs while Harmony Hunter posted 11 assists, three aces, and seven digs.

The Beacons have a big road trip on the horizon as they head to La Grande next Friday evening to take on No. 3 Eastern Oregon University (19-2, 11-2).
