KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech shot 8-of-11 from beyond the arc in the second half on its way to a 112-98 victory over Bushnell in Friday's Cascade Collegiate Conference men's basketball contest at Danny Miles Court.

The first half played out as expected as the high-powered offensives went into the break in a four-point game. Oregon Tech held the 52-48 advantage despite leading by as many as 12 points late in the period. An 8-0 run got the Beacons within four and a combined nine points from
Stevie Schlabach and
Trevon Richmond in the final three minutes helped Bushnell keep pace going into the half.

OIT led 96-83 following their seventh three of the second half, missing just one up to that point, to tie their largest lead of the game with seven minutes to play. The Beacons were unable to get back within single digits as the Owls came away with the win on their home court.

Kaden Sand finished with a career-high 32 points to lead all scorers, making 85.7% (12-14) from the floor, putting him in 10
th in the Bushnell record book for single-game field-goal percentage. Sand added six rebounds on the night.

Schlabach recorded 18 points, going 3-for-3 from beyond the arc.
Cory Johnson added 14 points and a team-high seven rebounds off the bench. Bushnell (9-7, 6-4 CCC) shot 50% from the floor, including 12-of-23 (52.2%) from three-point range and made 14-of-19 at the free throw line.

The No. 24 Owls (13-3, 8-2) were led by 25 points from Kam Osborn, who shot 5-of-8 from three. Keegan Shivers made 4-of-6 from beyond the arc, tallying 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Jamison Guerra and Blake Jensen posted 18 points apiece. Jenson added 10 rebounds and Guerra tallied 12 assists.

Oregon Tech shot 60.3% from the field, including 14-of-24 (58.3%) from beyond the arc, and turned the ball over just five times. The Owls outscored the Beacons, 27-13 on fastbreaks and held a 19-5 advantage in points off turnovers.
