EUGENE, Ore. – The Bushnell volleyball team got back into the win column on Friday night, earning a sweep against The Evergreen State College, 25-17, 25-8, 25-20.

The Beacons (5-3, 3-1 CCC) hit .245 in the match and held the Geoducks to a negative hitting percentage. Bushnell out-blocked ESC 11-5 and held a 58-47 advantage in digs.

Evergreen (1-7, 1-3) was led by middle blocker Marin Collins, posting eight kills without an error to hit .471 along with a team-high three blocks. The Geoducks earned seven service aces on the night with six coming off the hand of Rylee Grams. Grams also led the team with nine digs.

Bushnell was led on offense by
Halle Neumann, collecting 10 kills and four blocks as she hit .474.
Matty Ladd (pictured) added eight kills with just two errors, hitting .329.
Peyton Ritchie ended the night with a match-high 20 assists while
Bella Parque posted 14 digs and a team-leading four service aces.
Makenna Mosher posted seven blocks in the victory as well.

Bushnell will close out the weekend on Saturday at 5:00 pm, taking on Northwest University. Â
