Munoz had a big month for the Beacon men's soccer team, and was a key part of all three wins as the Beacons got off to their first 3-0 start to a season in seven years.
In a 3-2 victory over Simpson University, Munoz earned the assist on the game-winning goal late in the second half. In Bushnell's 4-2 road win against George Fox, Munoz scored the game-winning goal on an incredible top-shelf free kick, and went on to add an insurance goal for the Beacons on a penalty kick. He capped off his week scoring a penalty kick against Linfield in a 7-3 victory.
Munoz was named the Cascade Conference Offensive Player of the Week on August 28.
Parque broke Bushnell's single-match record for digs with 40 in a grueling five-set victory over (RV) Rocky Mountain College on August 18, while also posting four aces. Parque went on to collect 6.13 digs per set as the Beacons went 2-2 to start the season.
For her efforts, she was also named the CCC Defensive Player of the Week on August 21.
