The Beacons (2-0) are off to their best start in seven years, and are averaging three and a half goals per game. Over the next week, Bushnell will play their final three non-conference games against a trio of NCCA Division III Northwest Conference opponents.

LINFIELD: The Wildcats have played a number of scrimmages and exhibitions so far this season, including losses to CCC opponents Southern Oregon, Warner Pacific, and Northwest. Last season, Linfield went 5-13-1.

The Beacons are 2-4 in the all-time series and fell 2-1 in their last meeting in 2021.

LEWIS & CLARK: The Pioneers are a second-year program, having relaunch men's soccer last year for the first time since 1991. The team went 0-7 last season, and recently lost to Warner Pacific, 4-1. This will be the first meeting between the Beacons and Pios. Â Â

PACIFIC: Like their fellow NWC schools, Pacific hasn't played a counting game for themselves yet, but have a 1-0 win over Multnomah. Last season, the Boxers went 2-12-5.

Bushnell is 0-2-2 in their all-time series with Pacific, including a 1-1 tie on the road last season. This will be the first time the Beacons have ever hosted the Boxers.

Bushnell (0-1) enters its second game of the non-conference slate, taking on Lewis & Clark College on Saturday. The Beacons fell to Simpson University (Calif.) in their season-opener in mid-August.

LEWIS & CLARK: The Pioneers will take on Warner Pacific University and Northwest University prior to their matchup with Bushnell. The Pios went 4-7-8 overall last season.

Lewis & Clark averaged 0.79 goals per game in 2022 and were led by seven goals from Celeste Schreifels, who returns for her senior year. Sophia Young made 16 starts at goalkeeper for the Pioneers, posting a 0.770 save percentage.Â

The Pioneers are 4-1 in the all-time series with the Beacons.

The Bushnell cross country teams will get the 2023 season underway on Friday as they compete at the Linfield Harrier Classic, taking place at Joe Dancer Park in McMinnville. The women are slated to run a shortened 4000-meter course, while the men will also compete at a shortened 6000-meter distance.

Bushnell (2-2) heads into their first weekend of Cascade Collegiate Conference action, looking for their fifth consecutive CCC playoff appearance.

MULTNOMAH: The Lions did not play a pre-season schedule and thus face the Beacons in their first match of the season on Friday night. Last season, MU went 4-18 (4-18 CCC).

The Beacons hold a 25-1 record in the all-time series with the Lions, including 23 sweeps. Bushnell has also won eight straight against MU.

WARNER PACIFIC: After a 1-21 campaign in 2022, the Knights are 0-7 so far this season.
Â
The Knights are 11th in the conference for hitting percentage (.011) while opponents are hitting .277 against them, also ranked 11th. Edita Ljuca leads the team with 22 kills while Hailey Charriere has a team-best ten blocks.

Bushnell is 21-15 all-time against WPU and has won eight straight in the series, including a pair of 3-0 victories last season.

GOLF
Bushnell vs. Corban Dual

Originally scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, September 4-5 at Tokatee Golf Course, the men's and women's golf season opener with Corban University was shifted to Trysting Tree Golf Course in Corvallis. The event was moved up to Sunday and Monday.Â
Â
Tokatee Golf Course, which is located close to multiple Oregon wildfires, is currently serving as a staging ground for first responders and remains closed to the public.Â
Â
The two-team stroke play event will consist of 18 holes per day for both the men and women.
