EUGENE, Ore. - Bushnell Athletics proudly announces
Cooper Reineke,
Lincoln Wiedenmann, and
Connor Cameron as the Papa Johns Players of the Week.
Freshman
Cooper Reineke had a big week for the Esports program as he earned his fourth win of the season in NBA2K and earned an early qualification for the ECAC Postseason. Reineke steamrolled his opponent from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, taking his two games, 66-33 and 67-28. Reineke is 4-1 on the season and currently ranked No. 6 out of 91 competitors in the ECAC. His only loss on the season was to his own teammate.
Freshman
Lincoln Wiedenmann and Senior Connon Cameron led the Bushnell men's golf team to a tournament victory at their own Tall Timber Invitational this week, giving the Beacons their first tournament win outside of duals in five years. The pair tied for medalist honors as they each shot a 75-71--146. For Cameron, a steady Tuesday round saw him make par 11 times, adding five birdies, including on 18 as he hit a 15-foot putt to seal the draw. Wiedenmann began his day with three straight birdies, recovered from a triple-bogey on six, and posted four more birdies on the back nine. Â
As a Papa Johns Players of the Week, all three men will receive a free large pizza from Papa Johns.Â
