MEDFORD, Ore. –Playing at a neutral field due to heavy snowfall overnight in Ashland, the No. 10-ranked Southern Oregon University Raiders swept a double-header from Bushnell on Friday, 8-0 and 8-1.

GAME ONE: Southern Oregon 8, Bushnell 0 (5 Innings)

The Raiders scored all of their eight runs in the fourth inning to invoke the run-rule as the collected ten hits.

Sam Silver (1-4) threw a complete game in the loss for the Beacons, allowing ten hits in four innings of work. Cayla Williams (3-1) threw a three-hitter for SOU, striking out six batters in the complete-game shutout.

Molly Haley picked up hits for the Beacons including a double for Krstic.

GAME TWO: Southern Oregon 8, Bushnell 1

The Beacons once again collected just three hits in the night cap, including doubles for Erika Allen and
Alyssa Ferreira, with Allen's scoring Ferreira in the third inning.

A close game early, SOU blew it open in the sixth with a three-run home run from Lauren Weinberg.
Leslie Reynaga (1-2) went the distance for the Beacons and struck out five batters while allowing nine hits.
